Founder & CEO
Whether it is in the boardroom or the locker room, Seth Deutsch is passionate about coaching — and leading his teams to a win. He is a growth leader, operating partner, board member and CEO with a track record of delivering profitable growth for private equity-backed family-owned and public companies. Seth founded Samson Partners Group to help other founders and CEOs achieve their goals, and he’s incredibly fortunate to be in service to tremendous leaders.
Jordan joined Samson having earned a reputation for results-driven executive leadership at a number of professional services organizations. She specializes in operational excellence and transformational programs and “back-to-basics” business disciplines. She frequently serves as COO for professional services companies across North America, most recently in Legal Services and Construction.
Gary has enjoyed a career in the engineering, construction, operations, and environmental services industry for the better part of 40 years. With roles in finance, sales, marketing, operations, and executive management. Currently Gary serves as Operating Partner for Crescendo Capital Partners and Executive Director for Watermill Group, both of whom are independent private equity firms investing in the lower middle-market.
Ed has spent 34 years in the commercial design and construction industry, holding various positions including Global Chief Operating Officer of AECOM’s Building construction business. His current roles include Chairman of the Board of Roofed Right America (commercial roofing), a board director for a confidential residential roofing platform and as an advisor to several privately held businesses in the design and construction industry.
Jim is a seasoned global executive with a track record of growing and improving businesses based on an investment value creation plan. He currently serves as an independent board member for GBA Companies and an advisory board member at Smart City Works and the STRAAM Group. Jim is currently the CEO of Intercool USA, a leading industrial refrigeration company servicing the food & beverage and healthcare industries.
John Barrett is executive director of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, with more than 10,000 member companies in 105 countries. Barrett began his tenure as ISSA executive director in 2015. Prior to ISSA, Barrett served as vice chair of SMS Assist, a Pritzker Ventures company that developed a highly disruptive technology platform that revolutionized facility services at more than 140,000 sites in the United States.
Chris has spent more than 25 years creating investor value for start-up to Fortune 500 companies—pairing real-world results with a passion for growing people and global organizations. Chris serves as CEO and board member of RUI Construction, a Great Range Capital portfolio company. He has held positions on private company and nonprofit boards, including Tricoci, Chicago Cares, Chicago Foundation for Education, and Fund for Teachers.
Paul has served as a Managing Member at FSS Capital, LLC, a firm which provides managed capital to real estate and startup ventures. Previously, Paul served as the Chief Financial Officer at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, a private equity backed provider of design, program management and construction services, and on its board of directors. Additional positions include Senior Managing Director at the Dillon Kane Group and CEO at Hill International.
James is a manufacturing expert and former CEO of Mint-X® LLC, where he transformed a startup into an internationally recognized business with strategic retail partnerships. Known for his hands-on leadership, he emphasizes accountability and efficiency. Now an independent advisor, James partners with private equity firms to optimize manufacturing portfolios, focusing on sustainable growth and operational excellence.
